I bought these boots in five different colors. Some faux leather, some faux suede. Some size 7, some 7.5, depending on what was available. The half size didn't make much difference. They pretty much all for the same, although if you don't have relatively narrow feet, you probably can't wear these with anything thicker than tights. They are all super cute and for less than $10 a pair, I'm not going to complain about quality of material. Unless you look very closely or touch them, you can't tell they're faux material. My main issue is that in the product details, it says the shaft is 18" and the circumference is 17.5". This is not the case at all. I measured every pair when they didn't want to pull over the middle/upper part of my calves. The shaft on every pair is just barely 15" if you pull the boot as tightly as possible to get the measurement. And the circumference of each pair is almost exactly 16" on the outside, so considering that they are cuffed, it's more like 15-15.5" on the inside. Pulling them up as high as they will go causes them to stop just past the widest part of my calf. That combined with the lack of heel makes me look even shorter than I actually am and makes my legs look thicker. For the price, I'm not going to waste money on return shipping. I've work a pair already, they're not horrible, I just have to scrunch them down as far as I can and wear them like really slouchy ankle boots. I love this site. The prices are great. I also ordered a pair of 6" stiletto ankle boots that I am completely in love with. I just hope in the future, the measurements are more accurate. When it comes to boots, being off by 1.5-3 inches can make a huge difference on how they fit on your legs.
